Afton Williams-Jacobs is an abstract artist, astrologer, and tarot reader based in Connecticut. Growing up, Afton had the unique opportunity to witness her mother, who had her at 48 years old, use her psychic abilities to channel messages of hope and insight for others. In 2020, Afton created Monty’s Tarot Child, paying homage to her mother’s pen name, to provide guidance to others in order for them to reconnect with their most authentic selves and trust in the path that is unfolding before them. This passion for healing has manifested into an accessible YouTube channel offering virtual readings for folks to deepen their own intuitive abilities, an occasional newsletter with intuitive pick a card readings for the collective, and hybrid (in-person and virtual) divination offerings for holistically curated events and workshops. Through deepening her work as a spiritual guide and combining her intuitive practices within her artistic process, Afton is continually developing her work into a distinctive voice and, artistically, putting spirit to form.
