Pick A Card: Nurturance for the New Year
Pile One
Although it may not seem like it yet, there’s a promise of transformation here for you in this new year Pile One. 2024 was not an easy year for a lot of people. I can see that you faced challenges at every turn and may have been hoping that 2025 could offer some relief. And it is Pile One. If you have been feeling like you’re unable to catch a break this reading is here to affirm to you that there is a radical shift of energy coming in to refresh your soul and the connections that you value in your life. This is a change that starts internally before you are able to recognize signs of the energy shifting externally.
This year you are activating a karmic transformation that signals you are no longer interested in sacrificing yourself for things you don’t truly believe in. In this new year you may be understanding that last year you were involved in more responsibilities than you had the capacity for. The chaos of those decisions have triggered a need within you to fight for what truly matters to you. In 2025, you are laying to rest the habit of repeating old habits while hoping for different results.
Through the cards I can see that an important pivot for you is focusing on reuniting with loved ones and surrendering to being loved by people who know the strength of your spirit. Here you can let down your defenses. Their love and support will aid in the rehabilitation of your energy and source of hope. This pivot is resetting a foundation for you to rely on in the midst of the uncertainty that change is bringing you this year. If you find that an environment is too aggressive or unnecessarily competitive, this will be the year that you decide to disengage.
This isn’t because you aren’t capable of fighting Pile One. Sometimes you don’t need to fight. Sometimes you are meant to save your fighting for the battles that your beloved comrades may not be able to fight themselves. This year is all about the discernment you gain in knowing what fights best suite your desires of achievement. Do you wish to create a system of community care but don’t have the resources to start? That is a challenge your soul may have the capacity to withstand when you’ve reevaluated your energetic reserve.
Your soul family and connections are here to help you strengthen your resolve. Love is a powerful motivator, always seeking to move us into our greater purpose if we so wish. You have the free will to continue along your path as is. But if you want, you also have the free will to drastically shift the narrative and move into a path that doesn’t promise easiness but does reek of content.
Pile Two
What a freeing year this will be for you Pile Two. You are being liberated! The energy that you are currently navigating through is not moderate in the slightest. The definition of the word liberated is “(someone) set free from a situation, especially imprisonment or slavery, in which their liberty is severely restricted”. Any limitations or overbearing scrutiny lingering from the past is now being released and you are initiating a brand new chapter in your life.
This is the activation of an ascension. This is a calling that creeps into your subconscious as a whisper until it reaches a shout. This is energy that can’t be ignored and any discomfort present is trying to inform you of where you are actually meant to be. With each step that you take away from the severe confinement you have endured is a step closer towards a greater sense of purpose for you this year. One thing that your cards are emphasizing is how you are the one setting yourself free, not someone else.
This is a critical change happening in your life right now. You have journeyed so far from where you have come from and now might be a time where you are feeling very reflective over the journey of your life. What was your mental state a year ago - even 4 years ago? Think about how some of that progress has happened without you being consciously aware of it at the time. Now imagine the possibilities of growth with a liberated mind, body, and soul and the foresight to overcome unexpected challenges.
You might not feel this way just yet but you have accomplished something huge Pile Two. Before you go on to set your next expectations with the ambition to achieve even more, bask in the reality of all that has changed. In this time try to acknowledge anything begging to be released in order to prepare you for the more that will inevitably come to you. Spirit is encouraging you to give yourself grace in this in between. You are not being asked to decide on a fate right now, even though it may feel like it.
The purpose of this part of your journey is to deepen your connection to the instincts that continue to move you forward on your path. This could be preparing you for the many new chapters to come, helping you to feel confident with an unfamiliar sense of autonomy. Regardless of how this unfolds, you will ideally feel nurtured by the euphoric feeling of freedom and Spiritual Guidance surrounding you. If this freedom comes from an unshackling and you are mourning what you have lost, Spirit asks you to remember the relief you felt once you realized you were freed before the dread kicked in.
Pile Three
You are observing something in secret this year Pile 3 and it’s the source of your nourishment at this time. Recently, you may have stumbled across something new and perplexing that has captivated your interest. This is a very sacred space and time for you to explore a curiosity that could potentially sprout into an opportunity for you. If this energy resonates with you, then you could be experiencing a focus and steadiness that is new or unfamiliar to you normally.
Right now you may be very considerate of the actions that are necessary in order to accomplish a satisfactory experience of observation. In order to observe well you need quiet. You have to delay all distractions in order to focus your attention to the subtleties that are being divinely sent. This energy feels similar to missing a text message because of lack of reception. Stillness is your reception.
In reality, stillness is a choice that can often times be difficult to choose based on your personal experiences with radical rest. Transparently, this reading took me 4 months to write and post. That may or may not seem like a long time, but that’s exactly how long it took for me to be able to channel this very message for you. Five minutes of stillness doesn’t automatically bring you to your greatest awakening. Sometimes it can happen that instantaneously, but mostly it’s a multi-orgasmic (maybe I’ve been watching too much Dying for Sex?) happening layered in complexities.
Through it all Pile 3, the agitation and frustration, I can see wonder here for you. If you feel like you are stumbling your way through this phase of your life try to remember your spiritual guidance. You are not alone Pile 3. This is just a time of deep spiritual study and observation. If you can see the fragmented light within the crystal it is your reminder that lightness always exists within darkness.
